Introduction
Little Friends Pet Sitting was a top 3 pet sitting and dog walking provider in the Charlotte, NC area, with over 50 employees and over 3000 clients. However, they were losing key battle in their market, with a key competitor soaking up Google dominance in both search and map results. I led marketing strategy and execution for Little Friends under the Splurge Media brand and led a marketing transformation.
Challenges
The main problem Little Friends had is that their SEO was stalled, leaving them out of the top 3 for most of their primary keywords. This was costing them hundreds of leads each year and tens of thousands of dollars, making SEO a top priority for this project.
● SEO: Little Friends wasn't ranking in the top 3 for several primary keywords including "Charlotte pet sitter" and "Dog sitter Charlotte". They also has dozens of low quality links back to their website that needed to be disavowed.● Advertising: Advertising was expensive and not creating a positive ROI - stale graphics and copy were only producing about a 50% ROI● GBP: Google Business Profile was underperforming compared to competitors.
